Become a Mentor

Being in foster care as a teenager has a great impact on the children. Not only have they experienced a traumatic event, but entering the system becomes its own trauma.

According to the National Foster Youth Institute, only 1 out of 2 foster kids who age out of the system will have some form of gainful employment by 24 and less than 3% will earn a college degree.

Closet of Hope is looking to make a change in our local community. Read more below about the different ways you could become a mentor!
